Hytera presented its offer during the recent fair PMRExpo 2013 in Cologne. This is one of the most important trade fairs PMR industry in Europe, which brings together all the leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment. Also in this year, it could not fail to Hytera company. As every year, the booth was full of news. Brief review them below.
1 Trunking DMR Tier III - during the fair presented k omercyjnie trunking system available in the open ETSI DMR Tier III. Built on the new Hytera repeaters RD982S and widely available COTS components. The presented system is available in single and multi-zone on VHF or UHF multi-carrier configurations. Solutions in this standard are becoming increasingly popular, offering functionality at the level of TETRA systems while maintaining a much lower cost and interoperability of terminals from other manufacturers.
2 Simulcast for DMR Tier II - Hytera has also already commercially simulcast systems for DMR Tier II based on the new drives RD982S. The solution is available on the VHF and UHF bands. Such systems are becoming increasingly popular in our country.
3 New radios DMR Tier II - Hytera PD602/602G and PD502. New portable models will be available for sale in Europe (including USA) since January 2014. Both models offer excellent value for price / performance, making the technology more widely available DMR for users planning to migrate from analog to digital networks.
All of the standard version enable communication using two logical channels in direct mode, without the need for any controller. Also support the function of Pseudo Trunk, which provides dynamic allocation of calls / data to the currently free slot, which ensures uniform utilization of available resources. Also, this function is performed without the need for a separate controller. New radios support data transfer functions (according to the standard ETSI DMR) and enhanced signaling functions.
Hytera PD502 is the basic model of digital-to-analog transceiver DMR designed primarily for voice communications. Supports both digital transmission standard ETSI DMR and how conventional analog mode (including 5-tone signaling). Devices also support encryption, an enhanced signaling and the One Touch Call / Text for fast making calls or sending text messages defined. It's all enclosed in a small (115 x 54 x 27 mm) casing with high resistance to external factors (IP54) and a surprisingly low weight of 260g. PD505 have the same type of connector accessory as analog models currently offered company Hytera (HYT TC-610, TC-620, etc.), which provides access to a wide range of accessories at a competitive price.
Hytera PD602/602G presented is the second of two-way radios. This model is aimed at users looking for a solution to use in all conditions and oriented primarily to conduct voice communications. The radio is made mostly of lightweight metal alloys and ensures compliance with the standard IP67 - full resistance to dust and water. The relatively low weight (290g) and dimensions (only 119 x 54 x 27mm) appreciate users looking for smaller radio that. The radio comes standard with a roomy and modern Li-Ion battery provides 16 hours 1.500mAh digital mode operation (as in the case of the model PD505). PD602 is also available in a version with GPS module (version marked "G") and allows you to send text messages and transmission of data in accordance with ETSI DMR. Devices also support encryption for the basic version and the extended (ARC4/RC40).
For the coming year it is planned to introduce further models worn DMR radios. There will be versions with display and full keyboard, which will complement the new series PD602 and PD502.
4 Dispatching Software Hytera SmartDispatch 4.0 - during the fair presents a new version of the software dispatcher working with Hytera DMR devices. With each version, offered new features and capabilities. Also numbered version 4 offers many new among them:
- Support OpenStreetMap maps version online and offline
- Support OTAP - Remote programming Hytera DMR radios
- System call recorder (requires an IP connection to the drive RD)
- Support telemetry
Software version 4.0 will be available in the second half of December.
During the event, also presented the upcoming new products:
- Drive DMR Tier II - RD622 to be installed in the building. It offers up to 25W of power and the same functionality as the other currently available inverters DMR Hytera (RD982 and RD962). By integrating the housing 117V AC power supply and full duplex unit, the device can be mounted virtually anywhere in the building. It is not required dedicated, specially the power, space, etc.
- In the next year, Hytera has plans to present a new mobile radio, which will complement the portfolio of mobile devices DMR.
In the lobby you can also see upcoming worn TETRA terminal camouflaged, Hytera X1p. For the coming year it is planned to release a completely new range of TETRA terminals.
