new VX-230 portable radio series offers wider band coverage and more

The VX-231
two-way radio is the first product in the VX-230 Series and includes
large capacity Lithium-ion battery power for nine hours of battery life
with the 1150 mAh battery or 16 hours with the 2000 mAh battery. "The

are 134 - 174 MHz (in one radio, no sub-bands) and 450 - 512 MHz (in one
radio, no sub-bands). The VX-231 radio has more scanning options
built-in, including: priority, dual watch, follow me and talk around
scan. As with all Vertex Standard products, the VX-230 series is backed
